most of its notes were redeemed and now rare.

other officers, and very proud and independent
He was one of few who did not capitalize on South St., Concord, N. H. Thanks
hero status for political gain and retired to his farm
near Manchester.N. IL.
Stark was bom in Londonderry and at a youns
age his family moved to Dedrtyfield, now pail of
Manchester. He was one of the founders of
Staikville. now Dunbarton He w as an accomp-
lished woodsman and Indian fighter and served
with Roger's Rangers.
